THE LUNDY MURDERS
-20 YEARS OF GRIEF
On 29 August 2000, Mark Lundy drove from his Palmerston North home to Wellington to sell kitchen sinks and benchtops. Nearly 20 years later, in Wellington’s Supreme Court, his conviction for murdering his wife Christine and seven-year-old daughter Amber that August night was upheld, his last legal hope extinguished. What has happened in between is a chronicle of trying to solve one of this country’s most terrible crimes.
